Why plant medicine?

The last 30 years have seen an explosion of rigorous research into the field of psychedelic healing. These medicines have shown compelling outcomes in not only treating, but actually curing, conditions that afflict far too many people: Depression, anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the co-morbidities and social handicaps that come with these conditions.

While there are many wonderful therapies available, psychedelic medicine is sadly missing from the repertoire of safe-to-access and legal therapies in most parts of the world. For many people, it is the sacred ancestral medicines like the ones we offer that can actually break through and heal the conditions that other therapies can only palliate.

Why group healing?

Group work allows us to heal relational wounds, and to have the rich gift of being witnessed and supported during the process. Retreat participants build camaraderie, friendships, and support networks that last years and decades after the retreat ends.

Many people have a natural instinct to contract inwards and isolate when they are hurting, but numerous studies have shown that isolation worsens most mental and physical health conditions. Our mode helps clients come back into community in a way that is healthy and supportive.

Nurting peace, within and without.
