About RISE UP JOURNEYS
We're here to get you unstuck.Get back to living.
“You do you, Boo.”
We deeply respect the medicines and modalities employed on our retreats. We also know that each person’s healing process is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to evolution.
Don’t want to wear an eye mask? Take it off! Need to moan or cry? Make noise! Prefer to meditate without music? Enjoy the sound of the birds. Need to move your body? Go right ahead, no permission needed. Want to journey outside in the rain? Go for it!
We’re here to make sure you and the others are safe and supported – not to boss you around or tell you there’s one “right” way to trip.
“The medicine is just part of the medicine.”
We celebrate the substances used in our programs and have been personally healed by them. But we don’t put too much emphasis on any one substance or therapy, understanding that the healing comes from the synergy of medicine with a supportive environment in which we all tend to safety.
We steer clear of superstitions and appropriations, opting instead for the simple-yet-wild path of trusting the Inner Healer of each and every guest – No magical incantations or excessive “woo” required.
“Use all the tools.”
We understand that each person’s chemistry, spirit, and life circumstances are unique.
Folks who take antidepressant medications and other pharmaceuticals are warmly welcomed at our retreats and ceremonies (provided that medical screening determines it’s safe to do so).
We likewise welcome people who are working 12-step programs and people of all races and religions.

Physical Space
We chose safe, beautiful sites that ensure your privacy and security. Let us worry about the outside, physical space so that you can journey inward.

Emotional Safety

Healthy Boundaries
We communicate ground rules of safety and respect – and ask you about your boundaries – to ensure that everyone can safely go as deep as they need to.

Inclusive Rituals
Our non-denominational, mindfully-planned schedule of activities is designed to inspire, nurture, and heal.
